Hey Cousin! Yes, cousin, here we’re all family! Are you ready to know more about your long-lost cousin?
I am on this journey of being my true authentic self. I have found the person I’ve been locking up for years to fit into this perfect box through this journey. Of course, I am not perfect, I have flaws, but I don’t lack love. I have so much love for everyone and everything. My husband can attest to this.
I am happily married to my life partner. We’ve been together for over eight years. He has been a massive supporter in this journey, some things he doesn’t understand, but at the end of the day, he knows I choose him. We have two beautiful daughters who are destined to do great things. Last but not least, we have two dogs that complete our family.
Now, are you ready for the juicy stuff? Here are six fun facts you might not have known about me.
I have AADD (Adult attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder). I was recently diagnosed with AADD in the Fall of 2021. This has definitely been an eye-opening experience. One, I learned I’m not going crazy, and two, I don’t have early-onset dementia. I also suffer from anxiety and depression. It’s important to know because even though it seems like I have a “perfect life,” I suffer just like you.
I have an obsession with journals, almost every time I go into a store I look for the notebook section. Journaling helps me stay on track with the bad memory that I have as mentioned above.
I am a proud Christian. I believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for OUR sins. I am a sinner. I strive to love every through the eyes of God. Now, with that being said, I respect everyone’s spiritual beliefs and practices. Why? Because I have Loved EVERYONE, and I am no one to judge.
One of my favorite quotes is from the movie Selena when Abraham says lookup quote, “We have to be more Mexican than the Mexicans and more American than the Americans, both at the same time! It’s exhausting!”
I am a proud Mexican American, and it’s exhausting. I have trouble rolling my rrrs. I can understand everything you said in Spanish. When I respond to you in Spanish, it will be broken, for the most part, understandable.
Yes, I still cut the mold off a block of cheese and bread if needed. You can take the girl out of the ghetto but not the ghetto out of the girl.
