Do I Consider myself a traveling photographer? | Amarillo Newborn and Family PHOTOGRAPHER
To give a straight answer, no. I don't consider myself a traveling photographer. I would define a traveling photographer as someone willing to travel a considerable distance to a session, for example, out of the State or the Country. Now that is when it gets a little tricky because I live in the Panhandle of Texas, and I could travel 12 hours and still be in the great State of Texas.
Now, I'm going to get into a gray area because, indeed, I don't consider myself a "traveling photographer." Still, I am willing to travel the Texas Pandle to capture your family in your home.
So to be clear, I am willing to travel the Texas panhandle area for in-home sessions because I can't change where you live, and I have a passion for capturing families and newborns in their homes. Recently I made a trip to Tulia to do a newborn session of a good friend and her new baby boy and, I was honored to make that trip. That was the fasted 45-minute drive in my life. I must add I did drive the speed limit all the way there, give or take five miles (insert silly face emoji)
Do you Charge extra to travel to a home in the panhandle area?
I don’t charge extra to travel to Canyon, TX. I consider Amarillo and Canyon as the same area.
Do you charge extra to travel outside of the Amarillo/Canyon area? Yes, I set a base travel fee of $75 to travel to your home in the Texas Panhandle/ High Plains area.
