Preparing for a Photo Session at the Palo Duro Canyon

Are you looking for a stunning location for your next photo session? Look no further than Palo Duro Canyon near Canyon, Texas! If you've been hesitant to choose this incredible location I am here to ease your worries and provide you with some helpful tips for the spot. I'm here preparing an unforgettable session in the canyon.

tips just for YOU

  • ONE — Hydration, Hydration, Hydration. — Bringing enough water to drink is the most important tip. Hydration is key, especially during the summer months. Even though it does cool down in the evenings when you move around having little sips of H2O helps us stay cool and refreshed.

  • TWO — Comfort over fashion — Prioritize comfort over fashion when choosing your footwear. I know how it may feel that shoes can make or break an outfit but trust me when we’re doing our short hikes moving around comfortably. Leave the heels, flip-flops, and dress shoes behind for a more pleasant experience.

  • THREE — Adventure Awaits — Embrace the sense of adventure that awaits. Trust in both yourself and trust me as we go on this adventure. I have scouted the Canyon many times and have shot many sessions in the Canyon but come on this is the second-largest Canyon in the US. The vastness of the Canyon, spanning over 120 miles, ensures that each visit brings new and exciting discoveries.

These are three tips to help ease you into preparing for a photo session in the Palo Duro Canyon. When you book your next photography session in the canyon with Underwood Family photography you will receive a complete guide on how to prepare for the Canyon.

Ideal photography sessions in The Palo Duro Canyon are for Families, Couples, Seniors, and Single Person Portraits. I am open to having Maternity sessions in the Canyon but Mama trust me the Studio is your best bet in the Summer and Winter months.
